HOW YOU CAN HELP
 
All Ferrisburgh property owners and residents are welcome to join in the effort by sharing their thoughts on zoning and land use issues with the Advisory Committee.  The committee has no formal membership structure; all you need to do to participate is send in your thoughts or show up at an Advisory Committee meeting!

Your involvement could be a simple as emailing comments on just one issue.  For those with more opinions (and we know you are out there!), feel free to chime in as often as you like.  If you'd like to be kept in the loop, sign up for our email list by sending your contact info to zoning09@gmavt.net.  

We also have a loosely organized steering group to keep the committee on track.  We'd love to have more help with this if you are interested.  The steering group handles correspondence, schedules meetings, and coordinates feedback to the Planning Commission.  The most important role of the steering group will be to reach out to those interests in the community that haven't been heard from.

Finally, all town meetings (including Planning Commission meetings devoted to the zoning update) are open to the public, and have time set aside in the agenda for public comment.  Please let the Planning Commission and Select Board know that you are interested in zoning issues by taking the time to attend one or more of these meetings (schedule info).
